Bring wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and a larger, sharper display to your BMW 1 Series. This 10.25-inch Linux touchscreen gives you convenient access to your phone’s navigation, music and calls while retaining your factory iDrive controller, steering wheel controls and original system functions.

Connect wirelessly for everyday convenience or use a wired connection. With a startup time of approximately 6–11 seconds and automatic CarPlay and Android Auto connection, there is less setup each time you get behind the wheel.

Vehicle compatibility

Designed for BMW 1 Series E81, E82, E87 and E88 models from 2004–2012 with a factory CIC or CCC system.

This is an aftermarket accessory, not a genuine BMW product. Please confirm your vehicle’s existing infotainment system and connections before ordering. Model year alone does not confirm compatibility. Contact us before purchasing if you need assistance checking fitment.

Audio and hands-free calling

The screen supports two audio connection methods: factory Bluetooth audio or AUX.

Factory Bluetooth audio: Your BMW must support Bluetooth music playback—not just Bluetooth phone calls. The factory microphone can be used when operating in this audio mode.

AUX audio: If your vehicle does not support factory Bluetooth music playback, connect the supplied AUX cable to the vehicle’s AUX input in the armrest compartment. If AUX is not available in your original system’s audio menu, it will need to be activated by a suitable workshop or installer before audio can work through this connection.

An aftermarket microphone is also included for hands-free calling.

Important information before ordering

The original BMW interface remains button-controlled. Touchscreen operation applies to the upgraded interface; the factory menus must still be operated using the original controls.

This is a Linux-based screen, not an Android tablet. Apps cannot be downloaded or installed directly onto the unit. Compatible phone apps are accessed through Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

Aftermarket 360-degree camera systems are not supported. Factory reversing cameras and compatible aftermarket reversing cameras are supported.
